A reconstituição da época é meticulosa.
As interpretações são superlativas.
As cenas de tiros de uma violência exaltante.
A história magnificamente contada retrata fielmente o que foi aquela desgraçada época para os escravos.
Saltou de rompante para o 44 lugar nos 250 mais do IMDB.
Está nomeado para melhor filme do ano (perderá para o pastelão de Lincoln)
Christoph Waltz tem uma nomeação para melhor actor secundário (por mim ganhava de caras).
Tem mais 3 nomeações a que deve dizer “bye”
A não perder sob nenhum pretexto.

Nos Estados Unidos a polémica à volta do filme foi levada até ao insulto.

O problema foi o emprego da palavra “nigger” que na América tem que ser escrita n**** e que é dita, gritado, expelida  como seria natural para um filme de época.
Vai ser um piadão ver como é que irão descalçar a bota por cá, preto negro, afro-americano?
